A web design and digital marketing agency in south east Cornwall has almost doubled its growth year on year since launching, thanks to its “expertise in combining creativity with sales”.

Jessica Bents set up PB+J Web Design to harness her experience from international sales and marketing for art supplies giant Crayola to develop websites and digital strategies that perform for businesses in the UK.

Three years on, the business has grown annually, and in the last year is projecting 80% growth in turnover with 70% profit.

Bents said: “Creativity is key to our success, but it’s also really important to be able to sell the ideas you come up with. We work closely with businesses to understand their goals and what they need to achieve online before creating a strategy that will work for them.”

Since moving back to Cornwall, Bents has been working with a mixture of start-up and well-established local businesses, including Robin Curnow Outboard Motors, Next Level Surf, Peninsula Education, and Jamie Medlin Marine Artist, as well as expanding her portfolio at a national and international level with clients such as Tomy UK, FIS Worldpay in collaboration with GLS Design and Ed Hopkins PR.
