Why was the business founded?

Founder Katherine George started her social media journey working for other agencies across the UK on high profile social media accounts including The Spanish Riding School of Vienna, Dancing on Ice and Team GB, before social media marketing was even considered a ‘career.’ On returning home to Cornwall, she realised that her level of social media knowledge and wealth of experience was in short supply locally, as well as there being a gap in the market for an affordable, honest and truly knowledgeable social media agency. From there, Oh So Social was born.

Katherine launched Oh So Social from her kitchen table in 2014, offering businesses and individuals training, advice, strategy and management from her home. People often enquired about one social media aspect and ended up with them all, so she began creating affordable social media packages with something to fit every business, as well as creating bespoke offerings for anyone who wanted them.

From this humble beginning, Katherine’s initial success has led to Oh So Social growing to what it is today: an elite team of social media and digital marketing experts, managing a wide range of prestigious clients both in the UK and internationally. With a strong team of account managers and content creators, we provide expert social media management and strategy development, as well as using our high calibre technical knowhow on performance paid advertising campaigns.
