A Cornish social media agency has reached the semi-finals of an awards programme designed to celebrate the achievements and triumphs of women in business across the south west.
Oh So Social has been shortlisted for employer of the year at this year’s West Country Women Awards.
Founder and director, Katherine George, has been recognised for her commitment to supporting her team, from her belief in truly flexible working and healthy work/life balance, through to her advocacy for mental health awareness and support for staff working remotely during the Covid-19 lockdowns.
She said: “I’m really proud that Oh So Social has reached the semi-final of the West Country Women Awards. It’s extremely important to me that my workplace is a happy one, and the wellbeing and development of my fantastic team is crucial. It’s an honour to be recognised as an employer, as well as a female entrepreneur.”
The finalists will be announced at a celebratory event at Powderham Castle, near Exeter, towards the end of October, before the grand final in December.
