A Falmouth-based freelance writer has launched a new business to help people discover the positive mental impacts of journaling.

Hannah Bevan is the author of Hometown, a creative journal designed to help you love the place you live. Since publishing Hometown in 2020, her love for journaling has continued to grow and recently she launched Journal For Joy, to help more people discover the impact that journaling can have on their lives.

One way she’s doing that is by hosting workshops, as a unique and creative team-wellbeing activity.

“My team workshops are mainly on the theme of ‘Love Where You Live’ and ‘Connect To Nature’ but I can create bespoke offerings too,” says Bevan.

“Whatever theme you choose, for a few lighthearted hours I’ll hold space for you and your team to embrace playful creativity, mindfulness, connection and joy through the simple-but-powerful act of journaling.”
