Cornwall Innovation is launching a competition at the Royal Cornwall Show this week where a new business could win three months’ worth of support at one of its three business incubation centres.
Cornwall Innovation is inviting entrepreneurs to pitch their most innovative ideas in a bid to win a free place in one of the Formation Zones based within its centres, which are ranked as amongst the best in the world.
Each of the three Cornwall Innovation Centres in Pool, Truro and Penryn near Falmouth has a 20-desk Formation Zone, and the winner of the Cornwall Business Booster competition can choose which centre they’d like to be based at.
The prize offers three months’ free accommodation and support in the incubation space, which would usually cost over £500.
Cornwall Innovation director, Bernard Curren, said: “The Formation Zones provide a fantastic launch pad for a new business to get going – and have been recognised by the UKBI as providing some of the best business incubation facilities in the world thanks to the first-class support available from our team.
“This competition is a great opportunity for anyone starting up a new business in Cornwall to win a free place in one of our award-winning Formation Zones for three months, and get their new business off to a really great start.”
The Royal Cornwall Show takes place at the Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge, from June 5-7. Cornwall Innovation will be found on stand 332.
