Cornwall Innovation Centres raised over £850 for Transformation CPR, a Cornish food bank charity.

Every year, Cornwall Innovation Centres host a Christmas quiz and lunch for clients at each centre, as well as a raffle.

Funds raised go to a nominated charity, which changes every year. This year, the recipients of the donations are Transformation CPR, an independent charity overseeing and developing social care projects in the Camborne, Pool and Redruth area. £867 was donated to the charity by the Cornwall Innovation team.

Matt Harrington, head of Cornwall Innovation Centres, commented: “Transformation CPR offer a lifeline to so many families and individuals, especially at this time of year when the purse strings are more tight than usual.

“It’s been so heart-warming to see customers at the Cornwall Innovation Centres get behind the charity fundraisers, and I’d like to extend my thanks to everyone involved for raising such a fantastic amount of money, that will help to support our local communities.”
