The team behind the Watergate Bay Hotel has announced the launch of a new national hotel collection – Another Place.
And it has acquired the Rampsbeck Hotel on Ullswater in the Lake District as the first hotel to operate under the new brand.
The 19 bedroom, 4 red-star Rampsbeck Hotel is set in 18 acres of Lake District National Park with a quarter of a mile lake frontage.
Watergate Bay Hotel MD and founder of Another Place, Will Ashworth, commented: “We are very excited by the opportunity at Rampsbeck.
“The hotel is in great hands under the guidance of general manager Alison Mathewson and head chef Ben Wilkinson and we are looking forward to building on their work with some of our own ideas.”
Joining Rampsbeck in the Another Place portfolio will be the Royal William Yard 60-bedroom urban boutique project in Plymouth, currently at development stage.
Occupying a Grade 1 former naval victualing building, the hotel is being developed in conjunction with Urban Splash and Plymouth City Council.
