New tourism guides launched

The team behind one of Cornwall’s leading tourism marketing initiatives has launched three new guidebooks.

The Fal River Cornwall team has unveiled the new Falmouth Guide, Truro Guide and Fal River Cornwall Guide, which are currently being distributed throughout the county and to visitors planning trips to Cornwall from around the UK and Europe.

The combined print run on the three guides has increased to over 250,000 this year from 200,000 in 2012.

As a result in the expanded print run the Fal River Cornwall team has taken on Mike Zuczkowski as a full-time distribution driver.

Fal River Cornwall marketing manager, Toby Budd, said: “Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the Fal River is fast establishing itself as Cornwall’s most popular visitor destination.

“The guides, combined with the Fal Mussel Card, will help bring people into the area and provide a real boost for tourism businesses.
