There are less than two weeks to go now until this year’s Cornwall Business Week (May 13-17).
One of the many highlights will be a Question Time-style debate to be held at Truro and Penwith College.
The sold-out event on May 14 will feature a distinguished panel including Cornwall and Isles of Scilly LEP chair, Chris Pomfret; acting Cornwall Council chief executive, Paul Masters; Cornwall Development Company CEO, Suzanne Bond; Imerys director, Ashley Shopland; Jarrang CEO Stafford Sumner; and Anne Carlisle, CEO at Falmouth University.
It will be chaired by Cornwall Chamber chief executive, Kim Conchie, who said: “The selection of the panel was a challenge as too many panellists reduces the discussion time and we felt that maintaining the original Question Time format was the key to meaningful discussions.
“We recognise that this is not perfect as some sectors may feel that they are not represented but recognise that we cannot please everyone. We welcome suggestions for future panellists, as we hope to host more of these events in the future.”
