Discount retailer 99p Stores will be opening its third outlet in Cornwall this weekend.
Following on from the successful launches in Launceston and St Austell last year, the firm is opening at the former Comet site, on the Camborne retail park, on Sunday, May 5. Nationally, it will be 99p Stores’ 222nd UK branch.
MD, Hussein Lalani, said: “This will be our third Cornish store and our most westerly branch in England. We are very excited about it.
“We are looking at other Cornish sites too for future branch openings.”
The Camborne branch is creating 30 new jobs.
We were in Wales last Autumn and there was a £1.10 shop…. think inflation had negatively affected their 99p shop so they had to increase prices!
Not quite as catchy as 99p or Poundland….
