Following the sad cancellation of the Fowey Christmas Market and Truro Winter Gift Fayre, Live Events South West is set to launch an online festive directory this weekend.
With traders selling anything from jewellery to gin, and kids’ clothes to Christmas puddings, there is a huge selection to choose from.
Live Events South West MD, Andrew Weaver, said: “We are so pleased to be able to help people source local gifts while ensuring traders get much needed support with events being cancelled.
“This campaign will not only marry up customers and traders in an easy format, but also ensures the future running of each event. It’s all too easy to take the easy option and use some of the big-brand corporation’s online offerings, but that does nothing for the local community, its people and its businesses. It’s more important than ever to support your local community and economy, to ensure local events and businesses can return in full next year.
