St Austell Printing Company (SAPC) joined other businesses at a special event recently to learn more about the Plant One programme.
Plant One is a registered CIC, delivering a programme of tree planting across Cornwall. SAPC has been working with the Plant One team for a couple of years now and has been “blown away” by its passion for supporting native habitats and wildlife in Cornwall.
Operations director, Beth Mayman, explained: “Last winter, along with some of my SAPC colleagues, we donned our wellies and bobble hats to volunteer with the Plant One team to plant some trees on a green site in Flushing. This beautiful coastal site is of great historic significance, with both an ancient woodland and now, some newly planted trees alongside to enhance the site further.
“We loved our tree planting experience, meeting some great like-minded people and learning so much about the importance of creating woodland habitats here in Cornwall.
“We were so pleased to re-visit this beautiful site and share it with lots of other people who may wish to get involved in Plant One projects.”
