As part of Hospice Care Week (Oct 4-8), Cornish healthcare charity, Cornwall Hospice Care, is launching two new videos that allow you to take a look in both of their hospices without leaving home.
The films take the viewer on a walk round Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in St Austell and St Julia’s Hospice in Hayle.
“It can be a bit of a shock when someone mentions a stay in a hospice,” explained Gina Starnes, director of Clinical Services at Cornwall Hospice Care.
“We’re very proud of our environment and we want people to be able to take a look at it in their own time and from where they’re comfortable. The video tours are available via our website and show just how light and airy our hospices are and I’d really like to emphasise how friendly and welcoming our teams of staff and volunteers are.”
