A Scorrier-based business has shown its commitment to keeping graduate talent in the county by taking on a former work experience student.

Ellis Electrical has hired Miles Goldstone as its business development manager to assist with the ongoing growth of the company.

Goldstone worked at Ellis in 2007 on a summer placement, whilst studying business management at University College Plymouth.

The 23 year-old developed a business plan for the now prospering generator hire company.

Three years later Goldstone is back to take on a long term project in researching and developing growth across the expanding Ellis brand with Ellis Electrical, Ellis Security and Ellis Event Power Services.

He said: “It’s great to be back working with Ellis, it’s a fast moving Cornish company with friendly staff and new ideas. It’s fantastic to be offered a graduate level job without having to leave our beautiful county.”
