The Truro office of Britain’s fastest-growing accountancy firm is backing Cornwall’s Chamber of Commerce to boost the Duchy’s business prospects.

Partners at Bishop Fleming’s Truro office have signed up for the firm to be a patron of Cornwall’s Chamber for the next two years.

Ian Fraser, partner in charge of Bishop Fleming in Truro, said: “Cornwall Chamber is playing an important part in the Duchy’s economic growth, alongside the LEP for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

“We are ardent supporters of the aims of both organisations to see Cornwall prosper. One of our partners, Robert Davey, is already serving on the LEP board, so we were equally keen to back the Chamber.”

Truro partner Alison Oliver added: “In becoming Chamber patrons we look forward to working more closely with Kim Conchie, chief executive, and his team to assist in the process of boosting Cornwall’s prospects.”

Conchie said: “It is central to our strategy that we engage as Patrons the major businesses in the county, especially those, like Bishop Fleming, that can help to spread Cornwall’s business connections more widely.”
