Worldwide Financial Planning has had an office in Wadebridge since 2005, and a presence in the town since 1998.

Worldwide will be consolidating its administrative team within the firm’s Truro office, who will continue to support the IFA team who work flexibly between an office base, their clients and work from home.

The firm is also on a look out for larger premises in Truro, with a potential move from its existing Lemon Street base on the cards.

Neil Chamberlain, director at Worldwide Financial Planning, explained that companies are waiting in the wings to take up the office space at the Platt.

He said: “Our IFAs have embraced flexible working, and for many years have been using the Wadebridge office to hold meetings or use as an administrative base.

“The lease came up for renewal which gave us an opportunity to look at how we use our office space. We took the decision to consolidate our team into Truro, but we’re very much committed to serving our clients in north and east Cornwall.

Nick McBreen, IFA at Worldwide Financial Planning, added: “I both live and work in Wadebridge and the surrounding area, and will continue to do so easily using means that clients are increasingly preferring to a face-to-face meeting, for example phone, email, Skype or text.

“Some clients do like to see where we work and our support staff, and on that basis we will be able to use the Truro office as a meeting point. We’re available to our clients through a whole range of communication channels.”

The Wadebridge office of Worldwide Financial Planning will close on Wednesday (February 19). Two members of staff are being relocated to the Truro office.
