A Cornish start-up which specialises in customer profiling for online SMEs, is proving to be an instant success.
Five months after launching, Who Buys Your Stuff has gone from working with three brands to nine and is picking up some glowing endorsements along the way.
Amanda Barlow – founder of organic skin care company, Spiezia, said: “The work that Who Buys Your Stuff has done, has been invaluable. We now have absolute clarity on who our customers are and how to target them. Sales have already improved.”
And Active in Style, an online retailer based in London, has called the work “insightful, game changing, advantageous”.
Who Buys Your Stuff is the brainchild of Gregor Matthews and Ernest Capbert, co-founder and former director of St Agnes-based clothing brand, Finisterre.
Capbert said: “Customer research does not have to cost £20K and take six months, to then be delivered to the brands paying for the work, with all the enthusiasm of a snail.
“In four weeks and lifting very little resources from the business, brands can literally find out, who the customer is that’s driving their business – it’s incredibly powerful stuff.”
The business looks set for further growth in 2016 and shortly hopes to announce the addition of a new office in London.
