More than 50 of Cornwall’s business leaders and supporters gathered in Truro recently for the launch of a new business consultancy.
Happy Business is the brainchild of four former colleagues – Allyson Glover, Debs Horner, Beckie Pascoe and Rebecca Polson. They believe everyone has a right to be happy at work, and it’s their mission to use happiness as a driver for real, tangible results for businesses, their founders and teams, across the UK.
“Happiness has been proven time and again to be an important metric for businesses,” said Polson. “It leads to productivity improvement, increases in employee retention and customer satisfaction, improves health and wellbeing, all the while making recruitment easier by creating an environment people really want to work in.”
The four founders met while working at Unlocking Potential, where they helped thousands of businesses to develop, recruit and expand. Each bring their own expertise and specialisms including strategy, leadership, operations, project management, HR, recruitment, marketing, and communications.

With ‘Happy Team’ we enable coveted cultures, strategic and practical support for your current team and effective recruitment strategies.
