St Austell Brewery’s flagship lager has won gold in the British Bottlers’ Institute (BBI) Drinks Competition – a highly regarded competition in the drinks industry.
korev (4.8% abv) was handed the top award by the judges at the annual BBI competition in its lagers 4-5.5% category.
Tribute pale ale (4.2% abv) and Big Job double IPA (7.2% abv) also scooped ‘diploma of excellence’ accolades.
Brewing director, Georgina Young, said: “We’re delighted that korev has been recognised as the best in class for lager. We’ve worked hard to perfect its recipe and we’re proud of everything korev brings to those who drink it and to the brewery.
