Visit Cornwall is offering free digital marketing workshops to Cornish tourism businesses in the New Year.
The workshops will be held in Penzance, Wadebridge and St Mellion, and aim to help accommodation providers, restaurants, attractions, and all other tourism related businesses, increase their knowledge and skills in online marketing.
The main focus of the workshops will be on how tourism businesses can increase sales using Google, as well as save money and time.
The sessions will be delivered by Rob Edlin of Niddocks Online Marketing and will include a high level overview of the latest Google+ advancements. Attendees will get to grips with the likes of Google Places for Business, Google Analytics and Google AdWords.
Representatives from Visit Cornwall, the Cornwall Development Company tourism service, will also be on hand to encourage attendees to maximise the opportunities offered through Visit Cornwall’s digital marketing, including its website, email marketing, social media and videos.
50 spaces per session are available on a first come first served basis on the following dates and locations across Cornwall:
- January 21 – Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge
- January 22 – The Workbox, Penzance
- January 23 – St Mellion International Resort
To gain a free place, attendees must have joined Visit Cornwall as a 2014 Member. Non-Visit Cornwall Members are invited to attend at a cost of £75 + VAT.
