A Redruth-based company that specialises in medical rehabilitation and sports performance products has spent the last few months of lockdown making scrubs for health workers and adding to its new ‘Essentials’ range.
Staff at DM Orthotics research, develop and manufacture dynamic movement orthoses to help improve the lives of people faced with physical challenges. First established 15 years ago, the business has become a globally recognised brand and currently exports to more than 26 countries.
DMO Essentials was launched last year to make the company’s life-changing products more accessible. Now adult and child-sized leggings, single shoulder orthoses, vests and a child’s version of the double shoulder orthosis are available online.
CEO Dan Severn said: “In accordance with strict health and safety guidelines, we managed to remain open throughout the pandemic and are delighted to have been able to use our expertise to work with Cornwall Scrubs, whilst also developing our business.
“We have been working hard on our new range since the beginning of this year and are delighted that we can now offer more patients superior orthotic solutions.”
