The St Eval Candle Company has completed extension work at its north Cornwall factory.
The firm, which reported a 10% rise in Christmas business, has expanded production space at its farm base near Mawgan Porth, and increased capacity to hold more finished products for online and wholesale orders.
MD, Ian Greaves, said: “Increasing floor space by almost a third, we have heavily invested in the extension to the factory, which allows us to hold more stock during the busy periods.”
Supported by a £60k grant from Gain for Growth, the extension to the factory has also opened up more full-time roles within the firm and has enabled the business to streamline its production process.
