Join Outset Cornwall for another Grand Day Out on Truro’s Lemon Quay later this month.

Featuring handmade crafts, gourmet foods, vintage lawn games and face painting, plus demonstrations, goodie bags and a live broadcast from Rewind Radio, Outset’s market-style event on Sunday May 14 promises something for everyone.

Lee Hughes, deputy CEO of Outset Cornwall’s parent company, YTKO Ltd, said: “We’ve held this event for the last two years, and each time it’s been a great success.

“Each one has given our talented and creative clients a great opportunity to showcase and grow their businesses, and offered a way for people to support small local businesses at a time when it’s needed the most.

“And, as this is our last event, we wanted to make it our biggest and best yet.”

Stallholders will include All You Can Eco, Mini Mess Makers, Beebles of Cornwall and One Blue Eye plus many others, all of whom have been part of Outset’s award-winning business support programme at some point over the past 14 years.

And if you’ve got a business idea of your own, Outset’s business advisors will be on hand to chat with and see if they can help you start your own business journey.

Hughes added: “Even though our project is coming to an end, we can still signpost people to Outset Online, our own online learning portal, or to other providers such as the Growth Hub, who may be able to help.

“We’re extremely proud to have been part of our clients’ journeys so far, supporting them while they’ve successfully started their new businesses.

“It just goes to show what you can achieve when you have the right support behind you, helping you get your ideas off the ground and make them a reality.”
