The 2021 Cornwall Christmas Fair Committee gathers, with committee president Colonel Edward Bolitho, Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall, to mark the announcement of this year’s fair

Plans for this year’s Cornwall Christmas Fair have been announced. The fair will take place at the Eden Project on Thursday November 11, with a preview and shopping evening on the day before.

After a year’s break due to the pandemic, the fair will once again feature a mix of Christmas gifts, home accessories, clothes, jewellery and local produce.

This year the Cornwall Christmas Fair will be raising funds for Cornwall Community Foundation, as it plays a crucial role in supporting Cornwall’s struggling communities as we emerge from the pandemic.

Over the past 30 years, the group of organising volunteers behind the Cornwall Christmas Fair have raised in excess of £780k for Cornwall’s cancer patients and now Cornwall’s vulnerable communities. Due to the pandemic, this popular seasonal event was marked virtually last year with an online auction, raising £50k for the Cornwall Community Foundation.

“It is exciting to be setting the wheels rolling for the 2021 Cornwall Christmas Fair,” said Jane Hartley, co-chair of the committee of volunteers. “We are so grateful to the Eden Project for generously accommodating us and again offering free admission to all ticket holders on the day of the fair.”

Tickets can only be booked in advance (they will not be available on the door this year) and can be purchased from www.cornwallchristmasfair.com from Friday September 10.
