This year’s sell-out Cornwall Christmas Fair raised a record-breaking £79.5k, smashing through the £1 million total since the fair began.

The critical funds will help change lives across Cornwall by supporting community and grassroots non-profit organisations through Cornwall Community Foundation.

As well as the fundraising feat, this year’s edition of the fair also marked the event’s tenth year at the Eden Project where it has a festive home in the Link Building nestled between the iconic biomes.

Over 60 stallholders offering everything from artisan food and drink to handmade homewares came together at the event with all stallholders generously donating a percentage of takings to the fundraising effort.

Committee co-chair, Jane Hartley, said: “We are delighted to have surpassed our ambitious fundraising target – £79,500 this year and £1 million in the history of the fair. This money will make such a difference to communities across Cornwall and it wouldn’t have been possible without the ongoing support of our wonderful sponsors, stallholders, fair visitors and the Eden Project.”
