Newquay-based software and web-build specialist, Digital Web Media (DWM), has launched a new template-based website management service.

The WP4Schools initiative is a subscription-based service that is designed to not only lower costs of website builds, but also put all of the ongoing content management in the hands of the website owners who will not require any coding skills.

The schools-specific service will be launched this week (Oct 15) at the Cornwall Association of Primary Heads Conference at the Eden Project and is the first in a portfolio of template and subscription web management services to be released by DWM.

MD, Mark Grice, said: “Why hire expensive web designers if you can achieve all of your goals for a fraction of the cost on a specialist template based service?

“For organisations such as schools, it is not high design that matters, but the content in terms of their specific user needs. The content for schools requires updating several times a day and with this service it is hard to go wrong.”

The price of under £200 per year is designed to help schools budgetary and cash flow planning and includes all hosting, support and software upgrades.
