CLEAR, the Cornish charity that supports children and adults harmed by abuse and other emotional trauma, has gained national accreditation for the whole of its counselling and therapy services from the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
CLEAR is the only BACP accredited all-age service in the whole of Cornwall and Devon.
“We are so proud of this achievement,” said CEO Carolyn Webster. “Our children and young people therapy service has been accredited for over eight years and we couldn’t be more pleased that our adult service has also been recognised in the same way. The work we do to support adults affected by sexual abuse and sexual violence and adults who self-harm provides a much-needed service across the county.”
