The Lost Gardens of Heligan is inviting local charities to apply to become ‘Heligan’s Chosen Charity 2024’.

Since 1992, Heligan has been a beacon of support for local charities, raising tens of thousands of pounds of vital funds helping to protect and enhance the local community and nature.

This year, Heligan has partnered with Prickles & Paws Hedgehog Rescue, a charity which provides a service of rescue, emergency care, rehabilitation and release for native British hedgehogs in Cornwall and the Southwest.

The partnership began with the annual charity event on New Year’s Day, where all ticket sales and visitor donations went to Prickles & Paws. Throughout the year, the Heligan team has provided support to the charity, dedicating a week of social media content for Hedgehog Awareness Week and donating prizes for local charity fundraisers.

Interested local charities can apply to become ‘Heligan’s Chosen Charity 2024’ by filling out the online form by November 6, ahead of the partnership officially commencing on New Year’s Day 2024.
