St Petrocs, a leading charity dedicated to ending homelessness in Cornwall, has taken a significant step supporting its staff by becoming a Living Wage accredited employer.

By signing up to this commitment, St Petrocs guarantees that all its employees will receive a minimum hourly wage of £10.90, surpassing the Government minimum for over 23s, currently set at £10.42 per hour.

Associate director of people & culture at St Petrocs, Tom Beaumont, said: “We have always been committed to fair pay and transparent pay processes across the organisation. That’s why we ensure all our job vacancies clearly advertise the salary, and it’s why we voluntarily report on our gender, disability, and ethnicity pay gaps too.

“Becoming a Living Wage accredited employer is a further demonstration of that same commitment to fairness.”
