Having successfully overseen the £580k improvement scheme at Cornwall’s first charitable run leisure centre, Carn Brea’s centre manager Alex Clifton is taking up a new role as strategic development manager within the Trust.
The move will allow Clifton to focus on future planning and development at the centre, which celebrated its tenth anniversary as a charity in February this year.
He said: “I’m really excited about the new role and the challenges that it will give me.
“The beginning of this year was incredibly busy and exciting for us here at Carn Brea with the various improvements, the positive impact it has had on customers has really motivated us to continue improving the facilities.”
As well as implementing the business plan, Clifton will also be responsible for delivering Carn Brea’s community and charitable objectives.
