Feritech has scooped the ‘International Success’ award in the Tech South West Awards 2021.
The winners were announced at a live event at Market Hall, Plymouth, last night (Nov 25).
Feritech MD Rob Ferris said: “This is a huge honour and we are delighted to have won this award in the face of stiff competition from right across the South West region.
“We have customers in over 40 countries around the world and we are continuing to build our international business through the strength of our innovation. It is wonderful to have the hard work of our outstanding team recognised.”
Established in 2012, Feritech Global Ltd is a solution provider specialising in designing and building products that are used in extreme marine environments across the globe.
The company provides bespoke solutions to complex engineering problems. Recent contracts have include projects in west Africa, the Gulf of Mexico, Columbia and Australia.
The accolade coincides with the opening of Feritech’s new £3 million manufacturing facility near Falmouth. The new Feritech Innovation Centre will be the only centre of its kind in the south west, and one of only a very few in the UK, providing all design and build services on a single site, including precision machining, large scale fabrication, embedded software, electronics, hydraulics and 3D printing.
