A Worldwide Financial Planning adviser has been named IFA Newcomer of the Year.
Chris Rowe, who is based at the firm’s Wadebridge offices, received the award from Olympic silver medal athlete Roger Black at a ceremony in London.
He said: “I was put forward by a colleague after talking to one of the judges about the awards. The competition is always exceptional, so it’s a great privilege to actually win and take home a trophy.”
The Scottish Widows awards recognise success and achievement in the financial adviser community.
Rowe, who was recruited under the Unlocking Cornish Potential scheme, joined Worldwide in 2006 and became an independent financial adviser in 2007 after 18 months in Worldwide’s adviser academy.
