Andrea Bacon has taken on the role of home manager at Cedar Grange Residential and Nursing Home in Launceston.
Formerly a director of care for a group of 28 homes in Somerset, Bacon has moved to Cornwall with her husband and couldn’t be happier with her new position.
“Getting back to the coal face during Covid when everyone in care needed to leave their desks and help out, made me realise how much I missed working with residents on a daily basis,” she said. “Seeing their smiles and happiness genuinely makes my day.
“I’m so pleased to be at Cedar Grange. For me, it’s the start of a new care adventure.”
Previously run by Cornwall Care, Cedar Grange is now part of the not-for-profit provider, Sanctuary Care.
