Two Newquay-based renewable energy businesses have been crowned the best in the south west at this year’s Energy Efficiency Awards.
Harvest Cornwall picked up Renewable Energy Installer of the year whilst Naked Solar was recognised as Solar PV Installer of the year.
Family-run business, Harvest Cornwall has been fitting heat pumps and solar panels since 2012 and was also announced as the UK’s most Sustainable Heating Installer in 2020.
Founder and MD, Jonathan Coyle, said: “We’re thrilled. We work hard to provide a quality service, so we all feel extremely proud to be recognised for our efforts.
“There was some tough competition, so we feel honoured to be representing our county and very proud that Cornwall is leading the way for renewable technologies.”
Solar PV installer, Naked Solar, has been trading since 2010 and MD Tony Sampson said: “It’s incredibly flattering to be recognised as a leading company in such a critical, fast-growing industry.”
