With retailers reopening this month, Tarquin’s Gin is helping customers bounce back from Covid-19 with a new initiative to double credit to their smallest customers to 60 days, scrap minimum order quantities, and provide free hand sanitiser stations for retailers.

Commenting on the ‘Bounce Back with Tarquin’s’ initiative, founder Tarquin Leadbetter said: “I really appreciated the support I had from the local community when I first started the business, and now we want to help our customers have a fighting chance of coming out of this crisis stronger.”

The distillery adapted its spirits production to make hand sanitiser in March, distributing its World Health Organisation recipe product – scented with gin botanicals juniper and orange – to the Cornwall community including the NHS, Devon and Cornwall Police, and local food banks.

With the goal to get back to business as usual, Tarquin’s has continued to develop new products for the summer including its first ever rum, Twin Fin and a new gin designed to be served as a spritz, rather than with tonic, Cornish Sunshine Blood Orange Gin – both available to independent stores from Mid-June.
