According to latest figures from HMRC, exports of food and drink from the south west rose by 8% last year.
The amount of food and drink exported from the region increased to £810 million, with best sellers overseas being seafood (£173 million), dairy/eggs (£149 million) and meat (£94 million).
Nationally, total food and drink exports from the UK rose to £22 billion, reflecting an 8.6% increase.
