A new business support programme has been launched in Cornwall by Unlocking Potential.

Future Skills claims to be the first business skills development programme in the Duchy to offer a package that is “entirely tailored to the business or individual’s needs and is also fully-funded for SMEs”.

Unlocking Potential programme director, Allyson Glover, explained: “With comprehensive input from local business and industry experts, Future Skills is tailored to suit start-ups, managers or directors.”

The initiative, which is funded by Skills Funding Agency and the European Social Fund, is being jointly run with Cornwall College Business, in partnership with Leading Women UK, Oxford Innovation, Cornwall Chamber and Cornwall Innovation.

Glover added: “It’s designed for start-ups who might not have even started trading, those preparing to move into management roles as well as those already in management roles. For business leaders and directors, the programme is able to offer a more personal development-led approach.”

Those interested in signing up can find out more through the Unlocking Potential website.
