Cornwall College Business (CCB) and Cornish survival expert, Footsteps of Discovery, are looking for adventurous local businesses who want to try a new team building activity.

The two companies are working in partnership to run a sponsored team building event to raise funds to build volunteer accommodation in Rongai, Kenya.

During a weekend of survival and bush craft activities (September 28-29), each team will think through complex problems and offer solutions that would save their lives in a survival situation. Team building accomplishments and efforts will be assessed and winning teams will have the opportunity of receiving business skills training from Cornwall College Business.

“We felt that running an exciting survival challenge event would be a really fun way of raising funds for our Volunteer Kenya programme,” said Raoul Humphreys, deputy CEO at Cornwall College. “Building a volunteer block in Kenya is essential so that we can sustain future projects and so that local young people are able to experience life in a different culture as volunteers.”

The cost of the team building activity is £150 per team. To register your interest, click here or email Lauren Sundercombe.
