History
Jacksons was founded in 1923 and operates as an independent insurance and risk management brokerage. They have a long tradition of high quality service and expertise in both commercial and personal insurance.
In 2021 Jacksons was acquired by Higos Insurance Services Ltd, the South West hub business of Global Risk Partners (GRP), which then became part of Brown & Brown when the world’s sixth largest broker acquired GRP in 2022.

Jacksons offer a range of insurance services to both commercial and private clients.
- Their business brokers advise clients on many types of business insurance covers. This includes specialist advice for various industry sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, construction, and more
- Jacksons private client brokers advise clients on home (including high value), residential let property and motor insurances.
Jacksons have formed excellent working relationships with a variety of major UK Insurers such as Allianz, Aviva and Covea.
Jacksons 100th year milestone
Having reached this significant milestone, Jacksons director, Steve Moses concludes: “We celebrate our centenary year whilst looking forward to future challenges and opportunities.
