Jacksons Insurance partner David Hosken yesterday celebrated 30 years with the firm.
Much has changed since joining the firm at its Morrab Road offices as a 19-year old. He said: “I have seen a lot of changes since those early days and in particular the advances in technology.
“We were one of the first broking houses in the county to have a complete in-house broking system and have kept pace with technology ever since, although we never lose sight of the fact that there is no substitute for good old fashioned service and the personal touch.
“I am delighted that many clients have become good friends over the years and I am now dealing with the second and third generations of families who continue to use our services” he added.
Hosken became an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in 1986 and was one of the first insurance brokers in Cornwall to be granted Chartered status in 2003 when this new standard was introduced.
