Located at the heart of the north Cornish town, ONDA is the second jewel in the crown of up and coming Cornish chef, Ben Ambridge, following his successful takeover of the renowned pub/restaurant The Fox’s Revenge in early 2020.
Expanding his portfolio by bringing a new offering to the quaint Cornish town of Wadebridge, the former Jamie Oliver Academy graduate has designs on this venture becoming a hub for both the local and wider community.
With another busy summer season firmly on the horizon, the county’s new ‘must-visit’ foodie destination is offering something a little different with Ambridge’s focus on simplicity and bold flavours at the centre of his approach.
He is aiming to create an environment that champions the notion of coming together with friends and family, accompanied by the very best food.
Community is at the focal point of every project for Ben and during the initial 2020 lockdown, he and his team spent their days providing 8,000 meals for NHS staff – a spirit he is now looking to embrace in another tourist hotspot on the north Cornwall coast.
