Local investment firm, FC Fund Managers, is teaming with Truro College next week to hold its own ‘Apprentice’-style event.
The three-day initiative (October 23-25), being held as part of Cornwall Apprentice Week, will see 36 business students from the college put through their paces as they learn the kind of skills which will be put to use through their future careers.
The winning candidate will take home a cash prize of £500, and more importantly, a three-year apprenticeship with FC Fund Managers.
Sean Irwin, programme team leader of business, secretarial and law at Truro College, said: “This is a great opportunity for our students to be involved in a diverse range of business activities. Over the three days they will develop team, communication and entrepreneurial skills, to give them a valuable insight into the real world of business.”
