Coodes Solicitors, one the Southwest’s longest established and leading law firms in Cornwall and Devon, has celebrated the New Year by growing the Employment Team. Rooted in the communities of the Southwest, Coodes serves the business community from their extensive branch network of eight offices, from Penzance in the west to Holsworthy in the east.
The Employment Team supports both employers and employees to keep ahead of their rights and responsibilities, not just providing a service when things go wrong but promoting good HR practice.
Associate Solicitor Steph Marsh has joined the Team from a regional firm in Plymouth, ahead of an ambitious year of growth. Steph has spent several years acting for both employer and employee clients in contentious and non-contentious matters. She was impressed by Coodes’ strong reputation in the Southwest and was attracted to the company’s positive and friendly culture and calibre of clients, as well as the supportive and flexible approach to her commitments as an Armed Forces Reservist.
Steph said: “I’m excited to be part of a firm which has the community it serves at its heart and I’m looking forward to expanding the employment offering to better service the needs of the Southwest.”
In her spare time, Steph has a keen interest in sports, and is a member of a local baseball team and boxing club. She recently entered the London Classics Hall of Fame, having completed the London Marathon, Serpentine Swim and the Ride-London 100-mile cycling event and next month will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
