Hotel VARA is a new meetings and events venue in Truro.
On Friday October 6th from 1pm to 4pm Hotel VARA is inviting local businesses to pop in for a look around the meeting and event spaces.
Three creative and flexible spaces can be used in any combination for meetings, conferences and events. With a light, bright, Scandinavian feel, the space is unique in Cornwall.
The hotel has been used for meetings, interviews, networking events, seminars, and even a classic car convention.
Cornwall Chamber of Commerce recently held a lunchtime event in celebration of Redruth based call handling company Phoneta’s 30th anniversary, hosting over 30 guests in the spacious Scandi Room.

About the spaces
The Scandi Room holds up to 60 for a reception with integrated buffet area for food and drink. Breakout areas can be created within the room or around the hotel.
The Canvas Room seats up to 20 people with video conferencing option, popular for interviews, meetings and team gatherings.
30 hotel rooms offer simple, clean and comfortable accommodation with desks.
Free on-site parking and EV charging.
Free WiFi throughout the hotel.
‘Hot desking’ areas for those in need of somewhere quiet to plug in.
Lounge and bar open all day with the bar serving drinks, snacks and good barista coffee.
Artisan pizzas and tapas are served from 6pm to 9pm.
