Everybody thinks they know about Cornwall, even those who have never been. But what exactly are these perceptions? A recent study by VisitCornwall sought to find out and threw up some interesting results, as Malcolm Bell tells our reporter Matthew Clarke.
For instance, the VisitCornwall chief says that few people associate the Duchy with arts and culture, or even its great industrial heritage. And perhaps most surprisingly of all, Cornwall’s beautiful gardens appear to be off the recognition radar as well.
