Computech IT Services posted sales of £330k last year, up from £260k in 2012/13 and £197k in 2011/12.

The news comes as the firm celebrates another milestone – achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification for its customisation of bespoke computer management systems.

MD, Garry Thompson, said: “It is a great achievement. We have seen a 27% expansion in the last year. We had three employees five years ago, have taken on four in the last year and now have 12.

“Coping with the growth is one of our biggest challenges at the moment. We are trying to take on more people to cope with the workload.”

Much of Computech’s growth has been fuelled by overseas markets, with clients from America, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore and India.

Customers include art galleries to New York law firms; aircraft manufacturers to distribution companies, with some of its bigger clients include the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Medical School.
