Wild Card wins Hallmark contract

Greeting card and gift wrap specialist, Hallmark, has appointed Wild Card PR to lead a strategic brand communication campaign to drive awareness after a competitive pitch.

Wild Card’s strategic campaign will update perceptions to show key audiences “the real Hallmark” and add meaning to meaningful moments.

Wild Card will deliver a mix of brand and product storytelling, including driving product trial and delivering national news generation to generate wider brand awareness.

Jessica Lovelace, head of marketing at Hallmark, said: “Wild Card is a natural partner as we integrate PR as a key Hallmark communications channel through Q4 2023 into 2024 and beyond. From our very first meeting, the team has grasped the significance of our brand purpose and tapped into untold stories that will make our audiences think again about Hallmark.”

Georgie Upton, MD at Wild Card, added: “Hallmark is an iconic brand synonymous with connecting people and turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories. We can’t wait to delve into the rich history of the brand and deliver in-depth storytelling, helping to communicate their purpose, and chiming with the cultural prevalence for togetherness, kindness and care.”
