ABG Design has completed work on a new interactive visitor centre at Roadford Lake in Devon.
The Value of Water Centre and dry-weather garden is a partnership project between South West Water and South West Lakes.
ABG Design won the project through a competitive tender and worked closely with the client developing the themes and level of interactivity, a short animated film and ‘water hero’ costumes.
Visitors can explore how South West Water tracks down leaks across the region with use of the latest technology, discover which water-saving hero they are, take a water-saving pledge, and take part in a range of activities.
MD Howard Miles said: “We are really pleased with the outcome of this project. We worked with a really talented illustrator called Charlotte Leady who translated the exhibition messages in a colourful and commanding way. We are really pleased to be part of an exhibition that has a real environmental message.”
