More than 70 people, many from the Cornish business community, attended the beach inspired Cornwall Twestival Local event held on Saturday September 12th at the Bedruthan Steps Hotel, Mawgan Porth, near Newquay.
In this video package produced by Sideways Cornwall organisers, guests and charity representatives talk about the event and being a part of Cornwall’s first Twestival Local.
Since filming the video the team has revised the total fundraising figure upwards to £2,644 which will go to Country Holidays for Inner City Kids (CHICKS) to pay for new equipment and fund at least two children from Cornwall to have a holiday.
The event was supported by a number of local businesses who paid for the event running costs, donated goods or gave their time to the organisation and running of the event. To read the full details of their support please click here to read previous coverage.
Sideways Cornwall produces high quality videos showing the best to see and do around Cornwall. They are currently in the process of developing their new website. In the meantime you can visit their blog at www.sidewaysguides.co.uk, Twitter profile at www.twitter.com/CornwallNow or call Mark and Emily on 01209 204257.
