Cornish chocolate business, Josh’s Chocolate, is heading towards its most profitable year to date, up just over 30% compared to 2022.

Launched in 2019 by Josh Parker, the business spent the first year of trading in an unprecedented world pandemic. But despite global economic uncertainty, the business saw a steady growth in demand with both consumer and wholesale trade increasing exponentially.

As a sense of normality returned, the business continued to grow with stockist enquiries from Liberties, Selfridges, and Gloucester Services to name but a few.

Parker said: “As a new business, entering a global pandemic was nerve wracking but I and the team have strived together to ensure constant success, working hard to meet demand whilst continually evolving the business.

“It’s no secret that many start-ups don’t make it past the first five years so to be successfully concluding our fourth year of trading is an amazing achievement.”
